This client on this project was Highways England. Our scope of works included clearing the old, overgrown attenuation pond, remediation works to the excavated material to ensure unit was clean enough to be removed from site, excavating and forming the new attenuation pond, forming the lining of the pond with puddle clay, storm drainage, gabion baskets, kerbing and concrete access tracks. This was a very challenging project as it was done during autumn and winter. Also, because the pond was in content use taking storm water form the surrounding roads we had to put in a temporary diversion before we were able to start our main excavation works. Machine controlled GPS on the excavators and dozers was used throughout this project. The client was very pleased with the high quality of work & H & S standards.
