This was a project for the housing developer Bloor Homes.

We had to divert an existing stream and form two new attenuation ponds. The attenuation ponds were required for the nearby housing development. We also had to form a noise bund to reduce the noise pollution from the M5 using the excavated material form the new ponds.

Extra care was needed on this project due to the sensitive environmental nature of the project when working on and near an existing water course. The works was also carried out under power lines and pylons. We worked closely with the power supplier during the project and a strict set of safety criteria from the power supplier had to be met. The project went well and the client was pleased with the final outcome.
