This project was for ISG PLC retail and the outline was to build a new warehouse/destitution centre. The works included initial site clearance followed by 15000m3 of cut and fill earth works which was done using a mix of site won material and imported stone. Our earth moving plant is fitted with GPS modelling software which was used throughout the cut/fill process. The works also included forming a new attenuation/flow control basin for all the storm water on site, this was also done using our GPS modelling software. We also carried out all the concrete foundation works, drainage, kerbing and external concrete yards. Completing the project in the 32 weeks specified was always going to be a challenge but we did finish within 32 weeks and the project was finished to a high standard and our client was very happy with the works and also with our high H & S standards.
